I thought Disconnect was excellent and The East was good. But I went into Disconnect having seen no clips or trailers at all so everything was a surprise, whereas I’d seen tons of clips from The East so there were far fewer surprises left in that film. Maybe that’s why I only thought it was good and not excellent. The spin the bottle scene was excellent. Both films stayed on my mind for a while after seeing them. Alex is good at selecting roles, eh? It’s nice when your fave actor is in films that you actually want to see. I really want to see Hidden too. As for the other actors (which someone else asked about) - I thought Margaret with Anna Paquin was very good. The Barrens with Stephen Moyer was OMG NO. Not Suitable for Children with Ryan Kwanten was okay. Rutina Wesley was in some street dance film that played on TV and I couldn’t get through 5 minutes of it.

Worse. He’s always hungry and miserable and nobody likes him. One day a Social Bunny fell out of the sky to keep him company. Alcide promptly shoved the bunny and made him cry. Then a shrink fell out of the sky to try and help Alcide resolve his issues. It didn’t work too well.
